Pacific Northwest Truck Museum

I took a spontaneous drive with the boys yesterday thinking I may end up at the Iris Farm but on my way there I stumbled upon the truck museum. I had heard about it before and was actually one of the options for Bear's birthday adventure. I drove past it and then thought. "Would my boys have more fun looking at flowers or trucks?" I quickly realized the answer and drove back. We were welcomed by the nicest older gentlemen and he was kind enough to let B sit in a few of the trucks and caterpillars . It was a bit overwhelming because I did not expect it to be spread out on so much land I didn't know where to start.

I will definitely be taking the boys back this time with a lunch packed to eat on the grounds and a double stroller. Both the boys had so much fun despite the impromptu visit and B didn't want to leave. I love the fact I was able to take a few of my favorite pictures of the boys to date.

A memory of memories

Bear found my box of baby pictures the other day. At first I was apprehensive to have him sifting through something so archaic (okay, so not that old, but you know what I mean) but he was really studying each picture and being so careful that I just let him go at it. It was so neat to see him look at all the familiar faces only much younger. He was able to recognize my mom and dad pretty well, but kept on looking at the pictures of me and my brothers like "I know those faces". He is in the stage where every picture of a baby is Wolf. So I guess he thought they were pictures of W in dresses and pigtails. :)

It was really special to be able to look at  pictures of myself at his age and look over and my very own little baby. It made me have to take a minute and thank God for how amazing that moment really is.

too short...

Not the rapper,Me. Check out my attempt at taking a picture of husband and I while we were standing up. Can you believe he was actually willing to look at the camera? Sometimes I feel like such a pip squeak.

Ahh That's better. He even was nice enough to take the picture himself after he saw me struggling, LOL He even managed to work up a smile.

On our way back home from grocery shopping we took the long way home through Washington Park.

The flower that husband picked for me when we stopped at one of the look outs. Have I mentioned how sappy we've been lately<3All and all a great day off.
